Voice Amplify listens through your device’s microphone and plays the sound back louder through the speaker in real time. Audio is processed live on your device and is never recorded, saved, transmitted, or shared. The app has no account, no server, and no network connection.
When you tap Start, Voice Amplify captures live audio from the microphone (the built-in mic, or a connected wired/Bluetooth microphone), amplifies it, and immediately plays it through the speaker. The audio exists only for the instant it takes to pass through the app. When you tap Stop, capture ends.
All amplification, delay, and echo-cancellation processing happens entirely on your device. Voice Amplify has no backend and makes no network requests of any kind. Nothing leaves your device.
Voice Amplify requests microphone access solely to provide its core function — amplifying live sound. If you deny or later revoke this permission, the app cannot amplify audio. You can manage this at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone → Voice Amplify.
Voice Amplify is free. There are no in-app purchases and no subscriptions. We never see any payment or billing information.
Voice Amplify is not directed at children under 13. Because the app collects no data at all, it holds no information about any user, including children.
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date above will reflect any changes. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
