Is an account required? No. Fastoria requires no account, no sign-in, and no registration. Everything is stored privately on your device.
Where is my data stored? All data — fasting sessions, timers, and subscription status — is stored locally on your iPhone. Nothing is sent to any server.
Why does the app need HealthKit access? The Fasting Insights tab reads heart rate, HRV, blood glucose, and body weight from Apple Health to show how your body responds during a fast. The app never writes to Health and never shares this data.
The Insights tab shows “locked” even after I subscribed — what do I do? Open the Insights tab, tap the lock icon to open the paywall screen, then tap Restore Purchases. This re-validates your subscription with the App Store and unlocks the tab immediately.
Heart rate / HRV graphs show no data after I unlock my phone — why? Apple restricts access to heart rate data while your iPhone is locked. When you unlock, the app automatically re-fetches the data. If graphs are still empty, tap the refresh button at the top of the Insights screen.
How do I cancel my subscription? Cancel any time in Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions on your iPhone, or visit: https://apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. You retain access until the end of the current billing period.
How do I delete my fasting history? Swipe left on any session in the History tab to delete it. To clear all history, delete and reinstall the app.
The fasting timer didn’t start / stop — why? The timer is manual — tap the large circle on the home screen to start or stop a fast. The app does not auto-detect eating windows.
Fastoria does not collect any personal data. All fasting records and Health data remain on your device. See our full Privacy Policy.
